I’ve been looking forward to this one!
Not so long ago I was somewhat bombarded with requests for appetizers, all for family functions. I reached out for ideas, and got some great responses! I went to a “hen party” this weekend, and it was finally time for another… This great idea is from “masterchessboxer”: Mini Cheese Steaks wink

“Grill a couple steaks in advance. Filet works great for small parties; Ribeye/Sirloin works as well if you're having more people.

Grill the steaks to medium rare, rest, and slice into 1/4-inch slices.

Lightly grill French bread; a loaf 2 inches in diameter works best, sliced into 1/2-inch slices.

Put the bread, then a slice of the steak, each with a small amount of cheese wiz on top on a baking sheet - repeat ?? times.

Place in refrigerator and save for later.

Broil under HI for 3-4 minutes when ready to serve.

They'll go fast!”

Just for fun, I grilled an onion, red bell pepper, and Portobello at the same time as the steak. Chopped them up and tossed together with a dash of Worcestershire… Nice topper for the “steaks”, and great on crackers with a shmear of cream cheese wink

Don’t you wish you’d been there?
