Happy New Year!!!
Okay, we’ve talked about all kinds of parties, and computer problems delayed my posting... I truly hope that you are enjoying yours! I’m kind of looking forward to tomorrow – in my tradition, it’s all about the PARADES!
Now, what would be better to munch on while watching all those bands and floats and singers than MUFFINS?

Now THIS sounds like Christmas Morning Breakfast!
Dark chocolate and bacon – two of my passions – taste incredible TOGETHER! Don’t laugh. Many chocolate houses are marketing this product, with great success. Ya just gotta try it

You’ve STILL gotta try this one
I tried making Jessica’s Caramel Corn.
Either my popcorn was really old, or that just wasn’t enough oil to “pop†it. Definitely use an air-popper if you have one.

So – have you tried Batter Blaster yet?
I have. It’s fun! Since my buddy Jake was hoping to advertise the stuff, I figured that I should give it a test.
I bought three cans: one for Ris & Ant, one for a young single man I worked with, and one for myself. The verdict is in.

PB WOW!
“It’s a snack! It’s a cookie! It’s a candy!†That’s what the label on this ‘specialty snack food’ offered, and for the first time in years, I opened a container and started nibbling while in the grocers – long before I hit the cashier

Two Snacks in One
It’s been my experience that most kids (of all ages, as a matter of fact) like soft pretzels. Pizza probably tops most lists…
Here’s a way to combine two great tastes into one – using a method that you (or they) can prep ahead of time, then freeze and nuke when ready to eat!

I’ve always loved Creamsicles!
From ZisBoomBah here’s their ’Delicious Orange Frothy’.
Your kids can make this as a smoothy, or if you have something you can use as molds, make some creamsicles.
With only 109 calories per 8 oz serving, this could be a most amazing summer treat.
Microwave Snacks
I’ve noticed that we’ve had a few college students join us lately – Welcome! In your honor, I’m posting a few microwave easy snacks you just might want to try…
I’m assuming you now have microwaves? “In my day†we weren’t even allowed hotplates or coffepots (tho many of us sneaked them once in a while…)
