When I made chili a while back, I looked at the loaf of “seven-grain with honey” bread on the counter, and it just wasn’t right.

When I made chili a while back, I looked at the loaf of “seven-grain with honey” bread on the counter, and it just wasn’t right. Cornbread was an option, but even that seemed too heavy. My grandmother’s recipe for biscuits used buttermilk – I don’t stock it, and didn’t feel like going to the store. Besides, the chili was almost done!

So off I went to the search engine…
