Love Pomegranate seeds?
My niece does. When I witnessed Dr. Fuhrman demonstrate this on the Dr. Oz show recently, I knew I had to share.
We've all heard of slicing through the fruit and using a bowl of water to sort through the seeds – you still get some waste and blood red water using this process. And quite frankly, it's still messy. Dr. Fuhrman showed a much easier way.
You simply slice around the perimeter of the pomegranate, but only ¼ to ½ inch deep – then over a bowl, twist to open into two halves. Placing the cut side down in your palm – holding it loosely - you hit the back of the fruit with a wooden spoon. Repeat as needed. Done!
Now, doesn't that sound easy?
