Picasso Pancakes
Once again, I wish I’d thought of this – but even the title is not mine.
Rachael Ray has done it again. The next time you finish a product that comes in a squeeze bottle (ketchup, mustard, mayo?) wash the container well and save it.
Then, for a great and silly breakfast, fill the bottle with your favorite pancake batter! You can create all kinds of unique and wonderful shapes (hearts, flowers, animals – or simply “abstractsâ€), write names… the possibilities go on and on.
If you have more than one child, I would highly recommend that you have a couple of the bottles on hand, so each can do their own edible artwork. Now THIS part is my idea - use berries or chocolate chips for additional decoration. Animal eyes, spots on a dog, the center of a flower, dotting “I’sâ€, or just plain old whimsy!
How fun!
