Deep, dark, super rich chocolate cookies… Ironically, he had found the recipe in the “Everyday Food” magazine that I had given him a subscription to LAST year for Father’s Day. You won’t want to miss Double Chocolate and Cranberry Cookies! That’s right, cranberries – dried cranberries to be exact. The slight tartness of the dried fruit, which plumped some while cooking, added a wonderful balance to these massive yet tender delights. They presented a totally different texture than those often super-sweet raisins, and were surprisingly a delicious addition. Live a little and try something new!
