Regular readers will remember that I said I was having a “Bacon Christmas” – it was fun! For our “nibble food” as we passed gifts, here’s how I presented Spinach Twists: That’s tomato soup in the small glasses… I added a few slices of crumbled bacon to the spinach mix, and they went really well, along with the Bacon Twists: The Cranberry Salsa was a perfect accent. For the gift packages, I made Bacon Jam, Baconaise and Bacon Caramel!!! The really dark jar is Homemade Nutella, using the agave version. Super easy, and one of my niece Kati’s favorites (only this version is a bit healthier). Yes, I went through almost ten pounds of bacon – but they were ALL so YUMMY
